DRIVING INSTRUCTIONS; please follow these as GPS seems to be sending people the wrong way. Look for the red circles…9 minutes from downtown Concord; 70 minutes from downtown Portsmouth
From Concord, south and west:
Most direct; take I93 north to exit 18 Canterbury. I am 1.5 miles from here. At the bottom of the off ramp turn left. In a quarter mile take the right hand fork onto Carter Hill Road following the signs saying “Canterbury Center/Shaker Village”. Carter Hill dead ends into Rt 132/Northwest Road; turn right here. 50 yards ahead you will see an intersection where Cogswell Hill Road veers off to the right; historic white cape houses on either side. Up Cogswell enter the second driveway on the left with signs clearly marking it. Drive to the back for ample parking and entrance.
Most scenic; to visit the Apple Hill Farm and to enjoy some historic properties, take exit 17 off I93 and follow the east Concord instructions from Hoit Road.
From east Rt. 106;
Turn onto Shaker Road (either from Belmont north or directly from Rt 106). Turn onto Baptist Road [not Baptist Hill Rd] where it intersects and follow all the way across town. Baptist Road turns into Center Road as you pass town center and dead-ends into Rt 132/Northwest Road. Cross 132 slightly to the left to go up Cogswell Hill Road. Up Cogswell I am the second property on the left with signs clearly marking it. Drive to the back for ample parking and entrance.
From the seacoast north;
Take route 4 until it ends at Concord veering onto I93 north. Follow instructions From Concord south and west.
From the seacoast south;
Take route 101 toward Hooksett/Manchester. At the end veer right onto I93. Continue driving up I93 until exit 18 Canterbury. Follow driving instructions from Concord south and west.
