This patch work quilt started with a single piece of fabric that I printed on my paint board. A little bit crazy and full of paint splotches, it was freeing to paint without borders. Into these splashes I pieced geometric pieces to add visual structure. A final message was stenciled into the piece indicating how I felt making it; free.
Like all my art quilts, detailed stitching with the letter “f” in cursive finishes the over-all patterning of this quilt.
This comes with a sleeve and an acid-free hanging insert to easily hang on any wall with two nails.
