Decking the halls and the walls and the tiniest of places. PART ONE: Outside

Continuing the tradition…What started as creative entertainment for myself during an isolated Christmas in 2020, recording my Christmas decorations through this blog turned out to be a way to share the holiday with family and friends afar. So, again, enjoy this years inspired journey in 4 installments to see what my I can come up with this year!

My chosen life here in this part of New Hampshire is one of simple pleasures laden with country roads, gardens and traditional ways. While I sure can appreciate modernity–and my artwork surely embraces that–the simplistic idea of creating something from nothing has great appeal to me. This is what inspires me in every part of my life.

Enjoy your season and look for another installment next week. Wishing you comfort and joy, Jane

  1. Jane, Thank you for sending the photos of your home and the surrounding area. I’ve always admired your talented eye for color and creativity, I travel the main road frequently, your wrapped trees give off a warm welcoming glow. What a treat for our community and for all to see during the long NH winter. It doesn’t go un-noticed. Can’t wait to see the next installment.

  2. I love all the wonderful vignettes outside. This year I painted all my outside doors the same yellow that is on David’s shed. Hope you both have a lovely holiday.

  3. LOVE! My favorites are the simple candle lights in each window, and the garden shed with its red watering can. Well done, Jane.
